ClassPaper

Privacy

Last updated 9 October 2026

ClassPaper is built so that the things you care most about never leave your computer. This page lists everything we do collect, and why.

What stays in your browser

Class lists, names, saved classes, spelling lists, the text you type and any picture you upload are processed in your browser and are never sent to us. Saved classes and lists are kept in your browser's own storage on this device; clearing your browser data removes them.

Your email address, if you subscribe

If you ask for the once-a-year reminder, we store your email address, the date and the page you signed up on. We do not store your IP address or browser details with it, and we never sell or share it. It is deleted automatically after two years.

Anonymous usage counts

When you print, download a PDF or PNG, save a class or upload a picture, we record that it happened: which tool, which page, and settings such as the letter style and number of pages. We never record names, word lists, the text you type or pictures, and we do not store your IP address or a browser identifier with these counts. They are kept for about three months and help us see which tools are worth improving.

Hosting and cookies

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles each request (including your IP address) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not set any cookies ourselves.

Children

ClassPaper is for teachers and parents. It is not directed at children, and children's names typed into the tools stay on your device.
